By using ScrollMD — including posting comments, choosing a profile picture or handle, or otherwise contributing content — you agree to these terms. ScrollMD includes user-generated content and social features (public profiles, comments, likes), and we require every user to follow these rules.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior

ScrollMD has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree that you will not post, upload, or share content that is:

• harassing, threatening, hateful, or that bullies or targets any person or group;
• sexually explicit, obscene, violent, or otherwise offensive;
• defamatory, deceptive, spam, or unlawful;
• a profile picture or handle that is offensive, impersonating, or not yours to use;
• medical misinformation presented as professional advice.

ScrollMD is for sharing and discussing published medical research respectfully.

Moderation, reporting, and blocking

• Every comment passes an automated content filter before it is posted.
• You can report any comment, profile, or user directly in the app.
• You can block any user so you no longer see their content, and unblock them later.
• We review reports and remove violating content and ban abusive users, typically within 24 hours. Objectionable content is acted on promptly.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you post and must have the right to share it. Do not post another person's private information. Content that violates these guidelines may be removed and your account suspended or terminated without notice.

Not medical advice

ScrollMD provides educational summaries of published research. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Comments and summaries are not a substitute for professional judgment or the original paper.
